About Christi:
Christi began her first gallery, Row Gallery, in 2014 with a close artist colleague and enjoyed learning the business side of art. Row Gallery was a hit that ultimately morphed into joining the Viridian Studio and her own studio space on Carlisle Street - the famous art street in Columbia, SC.
Christi's style is very thick with texture, rich in color, and depending on the inspiration, tight or loose, figurative or abstract. She loves to sit on the marsh in the lowcountry and paint the beauty and light of that special landscape. She finds inspiration in textiles, rugs, photographs, local doors, and environments. Christi is a skilled artist with a southern twist looking forward to the future and sharing her talents with the world.
